Who are we ?
Action Marketing is a manufacturing agent working in the field since 1997 by representing renowned manufacturers in industrial and rental tools and accessories. Over the years we’ve been able to rank among the best manufacturing agents in eastern Canada.
Since its inception, Action Marketing has taken its rightful place, with more than twenty years of experience focused on the quality of the suppliers represented and customer service.
In 2019, two representatives of the team who have been in the company, made the acquisition with the aim of continuing and improving customer and supplier relations.
A new management philosophy and methodology is implemented following this acquisition, here are some examples of this new direction. The addition of an internal sales representative to maximize the response time to our customers, ongoing training to improve service customer, telephone system and customer management modernization has been implemented to facilitate the tracking of quotes, orders, calls and emails, and several other projects remain to come.
What is a manufacturing agent ?
The manufacturing agent is an independent professional, tasked by a manufacturer to market its products within a specified territory. The agent’s role is therefore to promote the manufacturer’s products and regularly provide him with relevant market information. The agent is generally paid at the commission and the product remains the property of the manufacturer. Part of his time is devoted to prospecting for new customers and part to meeting the demands of active customers.
